Growing A Pair: The Plan
GROWING A PAIR
In forty-one days I'll be in sunny Thailand :) The camp I'll be training at is Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. I haven't been there before so it's going to be a great adventure. The normal training day at the camp is broken into two sessions . . .
Morning Session
7:30 Run
8:00 Warm-Up (skipping, tire bounce, shadow-boxing & getting hands wrapped)
8:30 Muay Thai Training (ringwork, padwork, & bagwork)
10:30 Cool Down and stretching
11:00 Optional private Lessons
Afternoon Session
3:30 Run
4:00 Warm-up
4:30 Muay Thai training (ringwork, clinchwork, padwork, cicuits & bagwork)
6:30 Cool Down
7:00 Optional private Lessons
I'll spend the next six weeks trying to prepare myself. Whilst I can't imitate the sheer volume of training, I'll at least do two sessions a day and try to make one of the sessions reasonably long.
Training Strategies
Two sessions a day, six days a week
One short session in the morning (40-60 minutes)
One long session in the afternoon (120+ minutes)
Diet Stategies
Eat every two hours
Each meal is 300-400 Calories
Every meal has quality protein, low GI carbs, good fats & veges (or fruit)
Eat a little more carbs at meals that follow a workout
Drink decaf tea inbetween meals
Supplement with fish oil tablets & greens

Hey. Good to see that your taking it serious. Normally people who go and train in Thailand dont prepare much. Your diet seems more than good enough and training twice a day should prepare you well. Good luck and keep us all posted when you get there!
This is my first visit to your site (I think) Its very good. Let me know if you would like to exchange links. My email address is on my site.
